Dr. Joseph Mukuni has attended professional development programs in a number of countries, including China, Denmark, the Netherlands, Swaziland, Tanzania, and in areas of general management, administration, project management, small business management, and human resource management and development. He has also attended international conferences in Botswana, Canada, France, Germany, Kenya, Malawi, Norway, South Africa, Switzerland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

  • Prepared and delivered training modules for Afghan agricultural education teachers and university faculty
  • I am leading a study, working with a colleague in Kenya, to examine the nature of academic communication in a higher education institution in Kenya where English (which is a second language) is the medium of instruction. The study will also explore the relationship between communicative competence and academic performance. Progress has been held back by the coronavirus restrictions.
