School of Education Resources

The School of Education has a wide variety of support offices and systems in place to facilitate the timely processing of requests and to ensure you have the resources you need. Below, you'll find some helpful links to forms and information on our website. 

Office of the Director:

• SOE Funding Request form
• SOE Travel Support Request form (for use by SOE faculty/staff/students who are requesting travel funding support)
• SOE Swag Request (these requests must be submitted no less than TWO WEEKS in advance of when the items will be needed)
• Official SOE Letterhead

Faculty Information Updates:

• Faculty Information Survey (update your faculty profile) 

SOE News, Announcements, and Website Updates:

• SOE News and Story Idea Request Form (provide information for news stories, announcements, and celebrations for dissemination by the SOE Communications team via the website, social media, and the newsletter channels)
• SOE Event Announcement Request (provide information to create a page to advertise your planned event - NOTE: the SOE Communications team does not schedule or facilitate events. To schedule an event, please use this form and contact Tammy Guynn.)
• SOE Website Update Request (use this form for incidental and minor updates; for major updates, overhauls, or new visions, please email the SOE Communications team directly)

SOE Offices and Support:

• Office of Academic Programs (supporting faculty and student needs relating to programs, academic progress, and academic support)
  
• Office of Educational Research & Outreach (grant support and information, supporting resources)
•  SOE Communications Team (website, social media, newsletters, and external communications)
  

University Resources

• Time Clock Plus (for use by SOE staff/employees on hourly wage)

• Policies and Handbooks for Employees (Faculty, Staff, and wage employee policies and handbooks may be found here)
• Moving and Relocation Resources (relocation resources for new and current employees moving to an area where Virginia Tech has a significant presence)
