About
We combine the expansive intellectual exploration of the liberal arts with the advanced technological resources of a leading university and the civic responsibility of a land-grant institution. Recognizing that technology alone isn't the answer and that true innovation is fundamental to human achievement, our college unites the perspectives of the humanities and social sciences to help create meaningful solutions to complex human challenges.
The college’s 11 academic departments and three schools offer 42 majors, 60 minors, 39 master’s programs, and 32 doctoral programs. The college proudly claims more than 600 faculty and staff members, 4,000 students, and 60,000 graduates.
