The Academy of Teaching Excellence will hold a virtual dossier workshop on October 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. on Zoom to guide award applicants — especially for the William E. Wine Award and the Alumni Teaching Award — in developing and fine-tuning their dossiers. The session will offer tips for crafting letters, writing personal teaching statements, and assembling an award-winning dossier. The workshop will be useful for both dossier candidates and nomination letter writers.

The William E. Wine Award is based on nominations by students, alumni, and faculty in each college.

Winners of a college Certificate of Teaching Excellence over the past two years and the current year (2018–2019, 2019–2020, and 2020–2021) are eligible for the Alumni Award in Teaching Excellence.

Questions should be directed to the Academy of Teaching Excellence co-chairs, Anton Baudoin and Sharon Johnson.
