Many of our advisors report that students are responding very well to Flipgrid — a free app that allows them to respond to discussion prompts orally rather than having to write their answers. The app — intended as a simple and accessible video discussion experience for PreK to PhD educators, learners, and families — seems to provide a way to reinstitute some of the free-flowing dialogue we all love about a live classroom.
