Virginia Tech alumni are eager to share their knowledge and experiences with current students. Hokie Membership Connect provides undergraduates with career-related support and development, as well as networking opportunities with alumni.

Through the Hokie Mentorship Connect online platform, students can participate in several ways:

  • Structured Mentorships: Pair with an alumna or alumnus for six months to work together on career exploration and specific career-related goals
Flash Mentorships: Ask questions, network, and conduct informational interviews
Group Discussion Boards: Connect with industry experts and engage with others with the same career-related interests
Projects: Apply for short-term projects posted by alumni, faculty, and other community members to gain paid or unpaid work experiences

In addition, to prepare for upcoming virtual career fairs, use the Hokie Mentorship Connect platform to connect with alumni from organizations or within industries of interest to you. Alumni can provide firsthand accounts and great tips to help you be better prepared.
