Carol Mullen Received 2022 Society of Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award and Published in Professing Education

Carol Mullen, a professor in the School of Education, received the 2022 Society of Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award from the Society of Professors of Education for The Risky Business of Education Policy, ed. Mullen and Christopher H. Tienken (New York and London: Routledge and Kappa Delta Pi, 2021). Mullen’s individual contributions to the book were: “Preface” with Tienken, pp. x-xiii; and “Corporate Networks’ Grip on the Public School Sector and Education Policy,” pp. 1-22. The award was presented at the Society of Professors of Education conference, which was held virtually April 10.
In addition, Mullen published “A Tribute to Bernardo P. Gallegos and His Legacy from the SPE President,” Professing Education 20.2 (2022): 6–10.
