Maaz Gardezi, an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology, was awarded a Center for Human-Computer Interaction Planning Grant with Virginia Tech colleagues Elham Morshedzadeh, Hoda Eldardiry, Wallace Santos Lages, and Andre Albert Muelenaer for their project titled “Trustworthy by Design: Using Human-centered AI for Improving Healthcare Training Effectiveness.”
