Pandemic Bestiary, a series of 30 illustrations by Derek Mueller, a professor in the Department of English, was featured in Virginia Tech’s Flex Gallery in the Squires Student Center.

The series reflects stages of the pandemic and how people across the country have responded, with each illustration featuring a beast related to a specific pandemic theme. Mueller describes his creative process in this interview.
