David Brunsma, a professor in the Department of Sociology, was recognized as the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences Outstanding Mentor Award winner by the Graduate School.

Brunsma was recognized for his dedication and care, his passion for student advising, and his commitment to student success. He was nominated by sociology doctoral student Inaash Islam.
