Jennifer Lawrence, an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, was selected as one of three +Policy Fellows for 2021. 

The Policy Destination Area supports faculty and students developing novel approaches to policy development, implementation, and analysis to address complex decisions across multiple settings.

Lawrence is studying ways to “visualize chemical policy” related to the fossil fuel industry through the use of environmental humanities methodologies, such as deep mapping.

In addition to serving as a +Policy Fellow, she will receive up to $12,000 in funding.
