May 3, 2021
Two CLAHS staff, Brenda Husser, academic advisor in the Department of Sociology, and Nancy Nolen, enrollment services assistant, School of Education, were among seven university-wide recipients of the 2021 President’s Award for Excellence.
Husser was honored for her advising of undergraduate majors, whose number has tripled in the past six years; Nolen was recognized for her management of documentation for approximately 150 master’s and doctoral students.
The awards were initiated in 1990 to recognize outstanding contributions and consistently excellent performance of full-time staff employees, as well as certain administrative and professional faculty personnel.
Husser and Nolen were recognized in an online celebration on April 22; additional information about them can be found here.
