Carol Mullen Received 2021 Society of Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award, Published in Two Journals

Carol Mullen, a professor in the School of Education, received the 2021 Society of Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award for Canadian Indigenous Literature and Art: Decolonizing Education, Culture, and Society, Education, Culture and Society (Leiden, Netherlands: Brill | Sense, 2020).
The award was presented at the Society of Professors of Education conference, which was held virtually April 10.
In addition, Mullen published “Developing Teacher Resilience and Resilient School Cultures,” AASA Journal of Scholarship & Practice 18.1 (2021): 8–24, with 2020 alumnus Lee Shields and Chris H. Tienken; as well as “What Does Canadian Indigenous Literature Impart about Colonization and the Future?” in The Educational Forum 85.2 (2021): 143–60.
