The Institute for Society, Culture and Environment is hosting the second of two webinars on online methodologies on Thursday, February 4, from 2 to 3 p.m. The webinar, “Online Observational and Experimental Data Collection Methods,” will feature three panelists presenting information on Time-Sharing Experiments for the Social Sciences (TESS); Discoveries Online, a method to record observational data remotely with children and families; and methods to collect cognitive and behavioral data virtually with adults.

The panelists are:

  • James Druckman, Ph.D., Payson S. Wild Professor of Political Science, Northwestern University;
  • Marjorie Rhodes, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology, New York University; and
  • Benjamin Katz, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Science, Virginia Tech.

The brief presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
