Virginia Tech’s Theatre and Cinema Program invites the submission of project ideas for its Fall 2021 – Spring 2022 programming. This call is open to all members of the School of Performing Arts, Virginia Tech, and New River Valley communities.

The community is invited to submit theatre, cinema, dance, and interdisciplinary scripted and non-scripted projects for consideration through a faculty and student review process. Submissions of all kinds are welcome — little projects, big projects, short-term projects, long-term projects — that align with the school’s educational mission and serve the needs of its students. The school is specifically looking for projects that challenge white-centric, patriarchal, capitalist, and anthropocentric points of view.

Submit your proposal through the Theatre and Cinema 2021-2022 Programming Submission Form by April 9. 

You will be asked to submit a few short paragraphs about the work you propose. All submissions will be read and considered, regardless of their state of completion. Please direct any questions to tcprojects@vt.edu.
