The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT) invites members of the Virginia Tech faculty community to participate in an interactive Zoom workshop to learn about and answer questions related to the institute’s Call for Major SEAD Grants. The event will take place on January 15 from 9 to 10 a.m. Register by January 14 at noon.

During the first 30 minutes, the discussion will center on the call for proposals, critical aspects for a successful proposal, examples of showstoppers that ICAT will not fund along with some suggestions about how they might be made fundable, and expectations of funded projects. The remainder of the workshop will be devoted to answering participants’ particular questions about their SEAD grant proposals.
