SGM Joshua D. Eherenman is a native of Nashua, New Hampshire. In March 2002 he attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, KY and was awarded the Military Occupation Specialty of Cavalry Scout (19D). SGM Eherenman most recently served as 1SG HHT, 2nd Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment (Fort Bliss, TX).  

SGM Eherenman's previous assignments and duty positions include: 2nd  Squadron, 2nd  Armored Cavalry Regiment Vehicle Driver (Fort Polk, La); B Troop, 3rd Squadron, 89th Cavalry Regiment Squad Leader and Section Sergeant (Fort Polk, La); G/F Troop, 5th Squadron, 15th Cavalry Regiment Drill Sergeant (Fort Benning, Ga); C Troop, 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment Platoon Sergeant (Fort Lewis, WA); HHT, 1st Squadron, 14th  Cavalry Regiment Assistant Operations NCO (Fort Lewis, WA); Purdue University MSI (West Lafayette, IN); 1SG A Troop, 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, Operations Sergeant Major HHT, 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment (Fort Riley, KS) and HHT 2nd Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment (Fort Bliss, TX). 

SGM Eherenman completed combat tours in Iraq (2003-2004, 2007-2009) and Afghanistan (2010-2011) He completed an operational deployment to Poland (2021-2022). 

SGM Eherenman's military education includes the Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, USASMA class 75, USA Drill Sergeant School, Master Resilience Trainer Course, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, Cavalry Leaders Course, Battle Staff Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Combatives Level 1, Combat Lifesaver Course, and Company Commander/First Sergeant Course. 

 His military awards and decorations includes Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal (4), Army Achievement Medal (5), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (3 CS),Iraq Campaign Medal (1 CS), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4), NATO Medal, Drill Sergeant Badge, Army Instructor Badge, Combat Action Badge and the Order of St. George Bronze Medallion.

 SGM Eherenman is married to Kristin and has one daughter and three sons.
