Graduate Students and Faculty Recognized with Awards During Graduate Education Week

The Graduate School recognized outstanding master’s and doctoral degree students as well as faculty mentors with awards of excellence during the Graduate Education Week awards reception, which took place March 30.
The outstanding thesis and dissertation award winners were Erica Blake, History, Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award for Social Science, Business, Education, and Humanities, and Kuan Hung Lo, Science and Technology Studies, Outstanding Social Sciences, Business, Education, and Humanities Dissertation Award.
The outstanding graduate student award winner in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences was master’s student Thomas Miller, Sociology. Recognized with a Graduate Teaching Assistant Instructor of Record Excellence Award was Emily Burns, doctoral student in Higher Education.
Ashley Shew, an associate professor in the Department of Science, Technology, and Society, was recognized as the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences Outstanding Mentor.
