Su Fang Ng, Clifford A. Cutchins III Professor in the Department of English, was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Stipend for her book project titled “Brokering With Caliban: A Literary History of Early Modern English Diplomacy in the East Indies.” The project examines European diplomatic relations with “non-European Others” and considers the global circulation of Renaissance literature and its impact on global literary traditions. Ng’s NEH Summer Stipend was awarded by the NEH in April.
