As part of the 2023 Service Recognition Program, College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences faculty member David Alexander, a professor in the School of Education, was recognized for 50 years of dedicated service to Virginia Tech and commitment to upholding the university’s mission.

Anthony Colaianne, an associate professor in the Department of English, was recognized for 45 years of service.

Recognized for 40 years of service were Thomas Gardner, professor emeritus in the Department of English, and Debra Harry, Administrative Program Specialist, Army ROTC.
