Carol Mullen, a professor in the School of Education, guest-edited “Mentoring and Coaching in a Time of Crisis, Pandemic, and Social Distancing,” a special issue of International Journal of Mentoring & Coaching in Education 10.2 (2021). Her individual contributions to the issue were the guest editorial and “Online Doctoral Mentoring in a Pandemic: Help or Hindrance to Academic Progress on Dissertations,” pp. 133–38 and 139–57 respectively. The issue also included “Crisis Leadership and Coaching: A Tool for Building School Leaders’ Self-efficacy through Self-awareness and Reflection, pp. 234–46, by School of Education faculty members Jodie Brinkmann, Carol Cash, and Ted Price. In addition, Mullen begins her term as President of the Society of Professors of Education.
