Alexander Moore, a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction, published “Queer Identity and Theory Intersections in Mathematics Education:  A Theoretical Literature Review,” Mathematics Education Research Journal.  

He also completed a residency in the Department of Mathematics at the College of William and Mary from March 31 to April 23, during which he presented a nine-part seminar titled “Equity, Identity, and Ideology in Mathematics.”  

In addition, Moore is a co-founder of the Critical, Philosophical, and Psychoanalytic Institute for Mathematics Education as well as its associated publication, the Journal for Theoretical and Marginal Mathematics Education.
