Katalin Parti, an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology, published “Innováció a szociológiában.  A társadalomtudomány és az adattudomány metszetében elhelyezkedō, innovatív kutatási módszerekre irányuló kutatói attitűdök vizsgálata” [Innovation in Sociology.  Scholarly Attitudes Towards Innovative Research Methods in the Intersection of Social and Computational Sciences], Socio.hu 11.1 (2021):  147–71, with Ákos Szigeti.  

Parti also served as the U.S. Legal Coach for a team of students from the National University of Public Service, Budapest, that won the 2021 International White Hat Hacker competition.  The event, organized by Boston University, featured 16 teams of students from 11 countries who hacked into a cloud-based system, gathered digital forensics, and presented the collected evidence at a U.S. mock trial, applying U.S. law.
