Molly Wilkens-Reed, director of the Virginia Tech String Project and instructor in the School of Performing Arts, was one of five recipients of Virginia Tech Favorite Faculty Awards.  

The awards, based on student nominations recognize faculty who embody the five Aspirations for Student Learning.  Wilkens-Reed was awarded for the aspiration “Pursue Self-Understanding and Integrity,” as she inspires and encourages students to experience, explore, and understand their values and principles.  

The awards, established in 2006, are administered by Housing and Residence Life and Student Affairs.
