ASPECT doctoral student Sarah Plummer received the 2019 Olive Ruth Russell Fellowship from Berea College for $2,000. The fellowship is presented to a Berea College alumna pursuing graduate study. Plummer earned a B.A. from Berea College in 2005.

In addition, Plummer was selected as a 2019 Roothbert Fellow. The Roothbert Fund was founded in 1958 to support students whose research is guided by ethical considerations.
