Master of Science Degree in Career and Technical Education

The Master of Science Degree in Career and Technical Education (CTE) is designed to prepare individuals to become middle school and secondary CTE teachers (Initial Licensure Program) or enhance the professional development of practicing CTE teachers and provisionally licensed CTE teachers.

The primary aim in this concentration is to help CTE teachers become better educators and to provide opportunities to invigorate their joy for teaching.
Our program assist current teachers in Career and Technical Education to enhance their knowledge in their given fields and promote professional enrichment.

The VT CTE program has achieved a 100% placement rate for its’ graduates for the past 10 years!

Admissions Requirement

_{Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in related areas}
_{GPA: Have earned at least a 3.0-grade point average (GPA) for the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework for regular admission status or 2.5 GPA to 2.99 GPA for provisional admission status.}
