Faculty Honored with College Awards
In the spring of 2020 the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences honored the following faculty and staff members with awards in research and creative scholarship, diversity, advising, teaching, and employee excellence.
Certificate of Teaching Excellence recipients were: Andrea Baldwin, Sociology; Matthew Goodrum, Science, Technology, and Society; Heather Gumbert, History; Richard Masters, Performing Arts; Ashley Reed, English; and Younos Yumiko, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures.
Excellence in Advising Award winners were: Aarnes Gudmestad, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, and Laura Welfare, Education.
Excellence in Research and Creative Scholarship Award recipients were: Alexander Dickow, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures; Charlene Eska, English; and Richard Masters, Performing Arts.
Diversity Award winners were: Karl Precoda, Performing Arts, and Carolyn Shivers, Human Development and Family Science.
This year’s Staff Employee of the Year Award went to Kathy Tickle, Enrollment Services Specialist in the School of Education.
