Liora O'Donnell Goldensher

Dr. Liora O’Donnell Goldensher is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Virginia Tech, where she is Contributing Faculty in the Department of Science, Technology and Society and also teaches and advises in the program in Women’s and Gender Studies and the ASPECT program. Dr. Goldensher’s work has appeared in Social Problems, the Journal of Contemporary Ethnography, and Frontiers in Sociology.  She is currently at work on a book project about community and homebirth midwifery in the United States.
