We offer two majors: sociology and criminology. We have eight minors: American Indian studies, diversity and community engagement, women’s and gender studies, Africana studies, peace studies and violence prevention, women’s leadership, sociology, and gender, science, and technology. The programs we offer span a variety of disciplines and feature classes taught by our highly specialized faculty members.
At the graduate level, we offer programs for an M.S. and a Ph.D. in sociology. Both have concentration options in Africana studies, women’s and gender studies, and American Indian studies. Classes are taught by faculty from a variety of disciplines, including sociology, anthropology, ethnic studies, English, history, and modern and classical languages.
