Annie Hesp is a collegiate assistant professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures. She regularly teaches courses on Spanish culture and literature from the Middle Ages to the present; Introduction to Spanish Literature; and the Camino de Santiago. During the summer she directs the VT Camino de Santiago Study Abroad Program, leading students on a 300km pilgrimage. She’s recently an edited collection of essays for a book titled The Camino de Santiago in the 21st Century: Interdisciplinary Perspectives and Global Views. Currently, she’s working on a monograph of first-person Camino narratives.  Learn more about Camino de Santiago on her website.
