Department of History faculty member Jessica Taylor and master’s student Emily Stewart produced Voices of Virginia: An Auditory Primary Source Reader for Virginia’s high school and college students.

The project gathers oral histories from eyewitnesses to key moments in American history from the Civil War to the present.

The collection is available in VTechWorks, the University Libraries’ online repository, and was created with support from the University Libraries’ Open Education Faculty Initiative Grant program.
