Alumna Evelyn Blake, M.S. Home Economics, 1949, donated several of her fashions to the Oris Glisson Historic Costume and Textile Collection, which is housed in the Department of Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management.

Blake, who enjoyed a career as a home economics teacher in the Roanoke School System, will turn 100 in September.
