The Secondary Science Education program is nationally accredited and is approved for licensure in Physics (grades 6-12).

The Secondary Science Education program is nationally accredited and is approved for licensure in Physics (grades 6-12). The MAED Science Education Licensure Program includes coursework in educational foundations, science teaching pedagogy, special education, instructional technology, content area reading, and history/philosophy of science.

Teachers also learn how to facilitate the development of learning environments that motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
