ASPECT doctoral student Sara Wenger was awarded the Randy Martin Prize for Best Student Paper for her presentation titled “Fem(inist)Bots: Reimagining the Science of Sextech” at the 2022 Cultural Studies Association Conference, which took place in hybrid format June 2–4 in Chicago, Illinois.

In addition, Wenger presented “Feminist Science and Its Fictions: Bodies, Sex, and Pleasures in the Elsewhere(s)” at the 2022 Science Fiction Research Association Conference, which took place in hybrid format from June 27 to July 1 in Oslo, Norway.
