The college is pleased to announce a new program in the Department of Communication, a major in Sports Media and Analytics.

The major prepares students to produce and deliver sports news, consider ways to promote the sports industry, and analyze data related to sports accomplishments, fan participation, and social media.

Sports Media and Analytics was first introduced as a concentration in 2016 before becoming a major this academic year. Real-world experience such as internships is a hallmark of the program.
