Playing electric violin and computer, Charles Nichols, School of Performing Arts, premiered three new pieces of ambient psychedelic rock with his band Modality on March 1.   Performing telematically from his office at Virginia Tech, he streamed audio over the internet to join the band at the Missoula Art Museum in Missoula, Montana.
