Evan Johnson

Evan Johnson has more than 20 years of broadcast journalism experience as an executive producer, news anchor, and reporter. He has earned numerous awards, including a regional Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio Television & Digital News Association, and awards from the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters, Virginia Association of Broadcasters, and the Louisiana-Mississippi AP Broadcasters Association. In addition to teaching at Virginia Tech, Evan also has experience teaching at the University of Tennessee. Evan is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors for the Kirk Family YMCA in Roanoke, VA.
