The composition Sonder by Charles Nichols, an associate professor in the School of Performing Arts, for flute, alto saxophone, and computer, was premiered February 26 with a video performance by Performing Arts faculty members Elizabeth Lantz, flute, and Kyle Hutchins, saxophone, at the International Conference on Saxophone Pedagogy and Performance, streamed from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
