Daniel Hoek, an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy, published “Questions in Action,” The Journal of Philosophy 119.3 (March 2022): 113–43, and was awarded the 2021 Isaac Levi Prize for the paper from The Journal of Philosophy, Inc. The annual competition is open to current philosophy graduate students as well as early career researchers who earned a Ph.D. within the past two years. Winners receive a cash prize of $10,000, and the paper is published in the journal.
