Erin Hopkins, an associate professor in the Department of Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management, and Anita Walz of University Libraries were awarded one of eight VIVA Open Course Grants to Virginia Tech to develop a textbook titled Holistic Green Real Estate Management.” Hopkins and Walz will create a first-of-its-kind comprehensive open education resource on the topic of green real estate management that will be adopted by Fall 2022 for the required course in Property Management. The grant was the fourth awarded to Virginia Tech through this program since 2019.
