Jessie Chen-Yu, a professor in the Department of Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management, received the 2020 International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) Service Award with Jin Su.

Chen-Yu and Su were recognized for their service as co-chairs of the ITAA’s Abstract and Paper Review Committee from 2016 to 2019. During their tenure they played an instrumental role in the development of the committee, developing criteria, guidelines, procedures, and protocols for the review process as well as a full-paper submission process.
