Cara Daggett, an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, received the Clay Morgan Award for the Best Book in Environmental Political Theory for The Birth of Energy: Fossil Fuels, Thermodynamics, and the Politics of Work(Durham, North Carolina: Duke University Press, 2019). The award was made by the Environmental Political Theory Section of the Western Political Science Association.
