Bonnie Billingsley, a professor in the School of Education, received the 2022 Distinguished Service Award from the Teacher Education Division (TED) of the Council for Exceptional Children; the award honors individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service to the development and advancement of quality teacher education in special education. Billingsley was presented with the award at the TED annual convention, which took place November 8–11, 2022, in Richmond, Virginia.
