Charles Nichols, an associate professor in the School of Performing Arts, performed electric violin and computer with the band Modality on the Theremin Fest broadcast from St. Petersburg, Russia, on October 8.

The band members recorded a live performance of their new track, Rooftops, streaming real-time audio and video between their four home studios in Missoula and Butte, Montana, and Pulaski, Virginia.
