Master’s Students Awarded Critical Language Scholarship

Two master’s students in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences were awarded a Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) for Summer 2019. Yasmine Ameli, Creative Writing, studied Persian in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from June 9 to August 15, and Jarrod Blair, Philosophy, studied Japanese in Okayama, Japan, from June 11 to August 10. The CLS Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
