Department of English faculty members Abby Walker and Katie Carmichael were awarded $15,000 from the Office of Undergraduate Research to scale up independent research in linguistics through a capstone course. The funds will be used for course development activities. Walker and Carmichael’s proposal was one of five granted funding from a pool of 30 proposals.
