Join Dan Thorp, associate professor of history for the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, who will read from his new book "In the True Blue’s Wake.”

An esteemed panel of Virginia Tech professors and instructors will discuss banned books in both historical and current contexts in terms of general society and the impact on education.

Taste of Virginia will provide guests with an array of food and drink from across the commonwealth along with Virginia Tech’s Food Studies Program who will host the History of Food and Drink Showcase.

Tour the Department of Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management’s Center for Real Life Design, the unique lab that helps students explore residential design and technology applications and their importance to universally designed spaces.
