The Pamplin College of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences will co-host a virtual Women in Business event in celebration of Women’s History Month. “COVID, Careers, and Connecting” will be held on March 31 from 6 to 7 p.m.

The event will be a lively conversation among several prominent speakers, including alumnae from both colleges:

  • Laura Belmonte, Dean, Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences
  • Artemis Berry (Marketing ’04), Vice President, Member Relations and Strategic Partnerships, National Retail Federation
  • Traci DeShazor (International Studies ’08), Deputy Secretary of the Commonwealth for Governor Ralph S. Northam, Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Octavia Green (Marketing/Marketing Management ’11), Judicial Law Clerk, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida
