Spirits were high during Virginia Tech’s Black Alumni Reunion 2018, held in Blacksburg from April 13 to 15. Hokies returned to campus to catch up with friends, commemorate historical milestones, and celebrate successes, including those of four Influential Black Alumni Award winners in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences: David Clowney, Deseria Creighton-Barney, Erick King, and Carmen Sanders.

David Clowney (Property Management ’06) was named Athlete of the Year.
