Two Department of English faculty members were finalists for the 2019 Library of Virginia Awards in poetry. Bob Hicok was nominated for Hold (Port Townsend, Washington: Copper Canyon Press, 2018), and Erika Meitner was nominated for Holy Moly Carry Me (Rochester, New York: BOA Editions, 2018).
